I was just wondering what kind of BRM should be used playing hypers as stars has introduced these recently. My main problem in grinding any kind of games is lack of volume and I'm thinking playing hypers that only last on average 3mins will help this. Any advice or experiences with these much appreciated. Gonnaw1n U Cook Socks This is my opinion, so take it however you want. Yes, you can get more volume in playing the hypers. However you need to play more volume than you would reg speeds, or turbos, to compensate for the fact your ROI is going to be very low (if it's actually + at all) So in reality you aren't gaining a whole lot. Then you have to take in to consideration how many games you need to play, just to know if you are a winner at the stake you are playing or not. I don't know an exact figure, there probably isn't one, but it's going to be a hell of a lot of games. Personally, if you don't want to drive yourself insane, I would stay away from them. However if you do wish to play them I would imagine 100 Buy ins is a minimum, and I reckon you may need more. Would a 30BI rule for turbos be ok to use starting at the 3.5s on stars? I think 30 is quite close for Turbos actually, I have lost 10 games on the bounce a few times now. If you have quite a big edge, which you may do at the $3.50s, then I guess 30 would be fine, the only problem is, you are going to have to move down if you lose 10 buyins.
