Codec to use for screen capture vidsNot a beginner, but a general question (wasn't sure where else to stick this :S)
I'd like to upload a screen capture vid or two. I've got camtasia studio and that handles the recording just fine. So I'm just wondering what's the best software to re-encode the capture with, and which codec/settings I should use etc? I've tried tunebite but the file size still comes out rather big for a 40 minute video.
Also,what about hosting of the video? I've got a filesonic membership atm so could do that, but want what's most convenient for other members.

dude, just use the h264 codec and make it vbr and then set the quality to 45-50 and then use 128-192 vbr mp3 and the video is around 50-80 MB which is pretty nice imo as it still gives really high quality
