I don't want to post another thread for this, but I created a chart relating your ROI to your win rate :

Win rate (%) ROI
47 -10,5
48 -8,6
49 -6,7
50 -4,8
51 -2,9
52 -1
53 +1
54 +2,9
55 +4,8
56 +6,7
57 +8,6
58 +10,5
59 +12,4
60 +14,3
61 +16,2
62 +18,1
63 +20
64 +21,9
65 +23,8

This why striving to play your A game EVERY SINGLE HAND OF EVERY SINGLE GAME is so crucial.

Notice that a player who wins 54% of his games will win almost 3 times as much long term than a player with the same skill level, but who tries one extra brain dead bluff every 100 games (53% winrate).

Not sure what limit this applies to, but rake impacts a ton on your ROI, if you are playing the $2 reg speeds on stars with a win rate of 55% you are break even as the rake is 10% ($2.20). If you play the $2s on full tilt & your win rate is 55% you are actually a winner at 2.3% ROI because of lower rake ($2.15).

Which is obv why it is super important when starting out to try to play games with lower rake. The player that plays on Stars might go broke before getting good enough to beat the games for a decent ROI but could have the same skill level as the player that plays on full tilt, but this player has the time to learn more but is still increasing his bankroll.
