So after splitting from my backer today I decided that it would be good motivation and make things more interesting if I made a BR managment thread. I'll be starting with $600.

I've been playing MTTs to some success for roughly 6 months, before that I was primarily a SNG player. Played minimal cash.

I play 16-20 tables on Stars, the majority of them a 180 SNGs (10 or so usually) so I can gradually build a roll while going for that big score, and the rest are low/micro stake MTTs. I've been putting in ALOT of volume recently and plan to keep it up, I think I actually logged my last 1k games in the past 10 days.

Not really sure what I can set for goals, maybe something like $600+ profit,
and the chance of moving up to some mid stakes in a couple of months.

Any advice on what my goals could be or on anything else would be greatly apprectiated.

Right first upadte - Change of plan to starting that instead of starting out with $600 I started with $500.

Didn't play much MTTs last night, mostly 180s, couple of turbo wins, ended the day on $631 so any okay start I guess.

Plan on putting in alot more volume today, just about to start so wish me luck.

My second half of my session wasn't too bad, had 2 deep runs one in the $4 turbo came like 21/2900 done a spewyish shove with suited connectors with 9BBs, and then the $4 $6k I came about 20/1600 lost an important flip on the river.

Bankrolls took a beat, currently at $430.

Was majorly hungover today so only played 3 tournements or so, one of which was an $8 180 which I got 2nd in which was nice.

Also recieved a $50 stellar reward which now boosts my BR to $772.

So had uncountable semi deep runs and deep runs today, but I only had one deep run actually pay off and that was the $11 deep stack, which I run deep in so frequently so it was nice to finally make a final table, took 4th for $485 in it, which wasn't bad concidering I had such a short stack throughout the final table.

BR up to $1080 now.

Horrible day yesterday, ran bad in the 180s so it took it's affect no my BR, and had no success in the MTTs, got like 20th in the $5 2r1a which was frustrating, also deep in the $.275 10k again.

Loaned a friend $134, and being $300 or so down yesterday it puts me on $624 atm.

Just going to grind the $4.50 180s today to boost my bankroll back up to the $1k+ mark (hopefully).

Yeh the downswings can be quite brutal, but I usually counter the variance it with the 180s, just been running bad in them.

Yeh maybe I'll look into it. I should really go over my HHs and stuff, because I don't study my game what so ever.

Well another bad day, ended about $250 down.

Highlight of the day was 50th in the big $22.

Well bad news I'm afraid, went busto today due to bad BR managment and general run bad. I should of had more patience really, I wanted to boost my BR up quickly so tryed binking some $8 180s which never happened.

Not sure what I'll be doing now, more than likely I'll try win something off the 6k FPP I've accumilated.

Well made about $66 from my 6k FPP which was a little dissapointing becaue I expected more. From that $66 I played the $2.50 180s but didn't manage to win anything.

Not sure what I'll do from here, I'll update when I know.

So recently turnt to getting staked which luckily I got into an agreement pertty quickly.

Been in the deal since about Tuesday and have been crushing the $4.50 180s ever since, also got a 6th in the 1800 $5 $15k for around $500.

Getting some great coaching in this deal too, so hopefully I'll carry on crushing.

Just thought I'd post a quick update, and as you can see from this graph everythings been going to plan the last 6 weeks. (I started following the strict BR managment from about the 10k games mark.)

I've recently got onto the leaderboard on Sharkscope for any game 7 or more tables $2-$5, which is a nice accomplishment.

I also play alot of $6 reg speed 45s and $7 90s KOs, which honestly I'd be f****d without on some days.

Also been grinding a MTT schedule, no success to mention yet, hopefully it'll come soon tho. :p

Had some success in MTTs, 4th in 3r 40k, 3rd in $5 2r1a 30k, and 2 wins in the $5 1k cap.
