This is a chance for the up and comers out there to get a real help up the HUSNG ladder. We want to take some micro grinders up to the Tagpoker hall of fame. Work ethic is very important and if you don't feel you can really play volume then this is not going to be for you.

But for the rest of you workaholics out there that are really ready to get your teeth into higher stakes then read on.

Borg was originally staked and mentored by me and with commitment and a want to improve, he very swiftly climbed from the $2 stakes to the $200 games that he plays today.

Borg has now surpassed my expectations in terms of his skill level and is a real force in the games he plays and as such any stakes that we take on will benefit from both of our expertise.

This is not going to be easy for anyone to get in on as we are only looking for really hard workers with consistent results and a proven want to keep going. However if you're willing to work hard, follow the rules we set out and put in the volume then we'll get you to the high stakes games ASAP.

We are piloting this scheme to only a limited number of people at this stage to test the water with our program and if all runs well then we'll open it up to a broader market.

What we offer?

1) Coaching and staking for levels that we feel comfortable with your level of experience. Our aim is to get you up as high as you can go, as fast as you can so you don't have to worry about us holding you back at anytime.

2) You'll be coached as part of a group in game review sessions and if you haven't already had it, you'll benefit from Brokerstars Apprentice training program.

3) We'll target you, manage you, stake you, coach you, mentor you and get you earning real money in no time.

What do we expect from potential students?

1a) A minimum volume of 400 reg speed HUSNG's in a month or 250 deep stack games. Members that can do this volume will get fast tracked to higher stakes faster and get more 1-1 tuition.

1b) A Minimum volume of 250 reg speed games or 175 deep stacks. These members will get group coaching with some leakfinding. They will also take longer to move up in stakes but if they show solid returns, they'll still get to the bigger games.

2) Attend a group study training session held once a week at an agreed time (There will be two group session a week at different times to suit people with differing schedules).

3) Maintain above 7% ROI throughout the stake.

4) If students lose 5 buy-ins in any one session then they are to stop playing and send either Borg or myself their hand history of the games in question so that we can evaluate the losses and decide on the best course of action. Playing any further games without consulting us after 5 losses will result in the end of the stake.

5) Students will open and maintain a stake thread. In the stake thread we will expect a weekly update with and picture of your current graph and stats with notes on anything that you may be struggling with.

6) The stake will last for a minimum of 1000 games unless either of us (Borg or Myself) feel that it's appropriate to end it early.

How to get started?

1) Potential stakes will have to of played 200+ HUSNG games at the micro level ($1 - $10) minimum and show over a 5% ROI in this time. (this is a bare minimum and as such does not guarantee entry as we have to feel comfortable with you play and ability to grind vomume).

2) If you feel you meet this criteria then send either of us a message with why you think you'll be a suitable stake/ student, post in this thread that you think you can do it and we'll consider your application. If you haven't got a reply within a week then you have not been accepted this time around.

I would really be interested in this but 400 games a month is just something i can't do. 200 games a month would be a realistic goal for me, is there any flexibility in this volume for certain cases guys?

Ok im game for this! Im going to post a little about me, life time graphs, recent graphs and why i think i should be picked (take it as my CV if you want)

My Poker Playing to Date
I first started playing poker earlly april this year after been persuaded by a mate. Straight away i wanted to learn how to beat the game so after searching round the internet i found TAGPoker.

When i came to broker for coaching i had little idea about the game, i bearly knew what hands beat what at showdown and i had no kowledge of pre-flop hand strengths (other then AA was best 72o was worst) but i knew i wanted to get better.

I started brokers training and jumped straight into the game, but as i learned the hard way learning to beat the game and beating the game are completly differrent things! just because i had learned a load of infomation it didn't mean i had the skills or the correct level of thicking to apply what i had learned! I toke some beats and played badly and it resolted in me taking a 2 week break!

In this time i learned alot just from stepping back and looking at the game, talking to alot of plays on TAGPoker and reviewing Brokers lessons in a new light.

I came back a renewed player with better skills. I moved my roll to PKR and became a victem of the very fast reg speed games, but even with this i manged to carve out a 4% ROI playing small ball! I notice after a while thought that the best ROI's (and players) were playing the deepstack games, i twiked that the slow game gave the good player a huge edge!

So the roll moved to its current site on UB, were imo i have found the slowest speed reg games of any site (blind structure: 5/10, 10/20, 15/30, 20/40, 30/60, 50/100 @ 10 minuete blinds Shocked

) It has given me such a different out look at the game and how to play it and it has let me find my place in the poker grind! My game has step up so many levels after moving to this site as the games have given me this chance, so after 64 games i have a 34% ROI!

Why You Should Pick Me
Im a player who's come from nothing to a player who's really starting to show the skills of a true poker player. Im constantly inproving and have a drive to get even better. I've shown i can get better and that now im at a point that means i can beat the game with good stats. Im driven to reach the top and i want to suceed. I've shown i have the skills to play the game and beat it, now i want to play in the big game, i'll go about it the old fasioned way on my own, grinding it out till i hit the top but if you guys are given somone that kickstart, well i think im upto the challenge.

I would be really interested in this offer, it almost seems to good to be true. It would be a great honour to be chosen for this opportunity. If I don't get chosen, the good luck to whoever does, make the most of it.

My Expectations

400 a month is quite achievable for me for sure. I am two tabling right now. I am not sure if this is acceptable on the course though.

I play poker every day, so working on two tabling, I am playing 8-9 an hour. Playing 25 days a month makes that around 16 games a day. Two tabling that is around two hours a day. One tabling is 4, which I can still manage, but it would obviously be a bit more a stretch, with the study time I have put in too. I really can do it, in fact if I showed my partner exactly what is expected of me, she will be more than happy to help me achieve this , by covering certain times with the kids etc etc.

I have achieved over 10% ROI at $5 and $10 HUSNG over a decent sample size. (graphs to come) So staying above 7 % should be achievable. I have never played above $10 , apart from the odd $20, so I have no idea how I would fair up there, but with the mentoring I would be getting, I would hope I would only get better.

Why me ?

This opportunity would me marvelous for me. I don't claim to be the best,if I was then I wouldn't be looking for help. I do always strive to be the best, in what ever I do.

A set out structure like this, would be perfect for me. I am a focused kind of person, but I do feel I work better when I have set aims, targets, and most of all support. I have no set way of playing poker, I am open to all ways of playing. Winning is what matters, and I trust in those who know better than myself. I also think I have contributed well, to the best of my ability on the forums, to help others.

I have a lifestyle that fits in perfectly with playing (and learning) Poker. I am a polite, respectful, helpful person (as is nearly every other member on here amazingly!) Given this opportunity, I wont let anyone down.

i can play 400 a month no prob.
i play a high volume atm.

but iam still -ev and collecting $$ for training.
since iam acconted on most any poker site and iam smaal rolled there is no option for free couching option.

i dont like to be staked but is there any way that i can be part of it? or someone of the members can look at my game.

This is a great opportunity and also a big responsibility. I would love to be chosen for this but if not good luck to all who are chosen.

I'm fairly new to this site so I'll start by saying I've been playing poker for about a year but only taking it seriously in the past few months.

What I have learnt so far I have learnt on my own. I don't have friends or contacts who are interested in poker so it has been hard going.

I know I will benifit from this and have already qualified for the apprentice course and am just waiting to get started.

Playing 400 games a month is definitely no problem for me as I'm unemployed and spend most of my time playing poker.

I want to make a living from poker and I'm willing to put in and do whatever it takes to make that happen.

I know if I'm chosen I won't let you down, I'll put in 110% and I will have no problem achieving the goals set out.

Here are my results up until the end of July.

As you can see my results are very swingy and this is also why I think I can benifit a lot from brokers course.

I would like you to consider me for a staking position. I did the apprentice course in February and have played just under 1000 games since then. I have been playing mostly full-ring cash games with success recently, but when I saw this offer I was very interested and wanted to reach out to you.

I feel that I would be a very good fit for this position because I truly love poker and play/study 30-50 hours per week. Hey guys.

I've been trying to iron out some bits regarding this offer and I'm nearly done.

There will be a lower volume version which will mean that it will take longer to climb the stakes and there will be a tiny bit less coaching but it will still be a reasonable amount of games a month and I'm just finishing setting everything up for that.

The players chosen will be part of the Tagpoker Top Team and it'll be mine and Borgs job to get you playing higher than the $100 games as fast as we feel possible but again if you're not already beating your current games for a convincing win rate then this offer wont be for you.

We want to take the people what have taken the info from this site and really made it work for them, that and an ability (and want) to play some volume too.

Will keep you posted and unvail the Top Team page and forum in the next day or so.

Hello there. I just recently discovered TagPoker after reading a thread on twoplustwo about Brokerstar's style in HUSNG.

I don't have a subscription to sharkscope.com so I can't filter for HUsngs, but I'm pretty sure I have over 5% ROI at the $5's. I mainly 2-3 table the 4mans but can also play 2 mans, and occasionally the 32mans.

I play cashgames on other sites too, but I can certainly focus 100% on HUsngs and play 400 in a month.

My screenname on pokerstars is IEATyOuFISH.
