Alternatives to SharkScopeI don't think I'm quite to point where I want to pay for sharkscope and I burn up the five free searches a day real quick (and the 20 free at topshark). Are there any other sites with free options worth looking into?

at low stakes you dont really have too scope them, just sit first and mostly the bad players sit you.
if you arent comfortable with that, what you can do is after you have burned the 20 of searches of topshark and 5 from sharkscope.
you can also use the general search option of topshark and they give you 3 graphs of the player, multitable tournaments , sit n go and husng
just click on the tab of wich kind you want too see and if they are breakeven of are a losing player, which you can see from the graph, then you can sit them.

Also when you are ready to pay for sharkscope i'd recommend the 200 searches for $9.99.
I used to buy 150 per day but realised that it wasn't really worth it for me.
The 200 works out pretty cheap (you still get your 5 free a day) and lasts quite a while.
Also while I agree that it isn't really necessary at the low stakes it can help as when you see a -20% roi fish sitting you want to snap sit while you might not sit a 10% roi player as you're edge is a lot smaller.

Try www.pokerprolabs.com .
I'd try and not pay for sharkscope (or PTR for cash or any other similar services) because they are illegal and are hurting the poker economy overall. Supporting them is like shooting yourself in the foot in my eyes.

Can you explain this? Is it just that poker sites will ban you if they find out you're using the heads up feature? They are not hurting my poker economy .

Thanks for the heads up about the player profile search in top shark, I think this will be my go to search after I burn up the sharkscope free searches. Now if I can just sit the softer games faster...

Pretty cool, I get a star on there !
If you are playing anything up to $10, just sit first and get sat by fish after fish after fish. No need to worry about hunting bad players, they all are. The odd ones that are any good, sit first anyway.
P.S
Second paragraph is to op, not Borg obv

You can get the PokerProLabs HUD for free and the shark prog that clips onto the tables by signing up to an Ipoker site with them and earning 500 points. You get 18 points for every $1 raked at the lowest VIP level, it doesn't take very long at all to clear, less then the 7 day trial that you'll be using anyway.
