alexfrans - BR Journey and challenges

Hello guys,

I'm starting my own thread here to make sure that i play some more volume the coming month. Don't have much spare time to play.
Just got my 3rd kid last february and have a full time job. When i have some time i only play a few games on full tilt or stars.
So by starting this i feel obliged to play more than i usually do.

Goals for April:
[ ] 100 games of 6.25 $ on stars
[ ] Watch at least 2 vids at Tagpoker
[ ] Post hands for advice
[ ] Make a profit
[ ] Have fun playing poker

Long term
[ ] Move up to 11$
[ ] More volume: Silverstar minimum each month

For BRM i will the use stairway which can be found somewhere on this site.Planning to make at least weekly updates.
Also i have the habbit of switching between full tilt and stars when i feel like it.
The pokerstars software i like the most, so i will begin there this month.
To mix it up i will also play some low stakes MTTs and MTTSNG.

Current Bankroll at the sites are:
Pokerstars: 195.45
Full tilt: 140.41
Mansion: 100 ish
Combined: 435 ish

Questions:
- Should i transfer all of it to stars and start playing the 10$ and 11$ HUSNG?
- How do you use BRM when you have your BR spread over several accounts.

Thanks in advance and good luck at the tables.

Good luck. I wouldn't play on Stars though. Euro sites or even FTP would be much better imo because on Stars you get very little rakeback at these stakes, like 3 times smaller than on some euro sites.

Yeah i know but i like the software of stars better than full tilt.
Besides that, on stars there is more traffic to play some low stakes MTT SNG.

I have rakeback on fulltilt, only goldstar is approx the same on stars.

Will mix things up for the upcoming month.

some people have mentioned in the past that they play what ever stakes there intire bankrol can handle, i think this is fine as long as you realise if you run really hot on one site but really bad on the other you could easyily busto on one site (for alot of people they won't be able to haddle the mental strain) just smothing to think about

My 2 cents....albeit from a newbie:

I think your bankroll should be thought of in terms of money you have available and/or are willing to spend (invest Smile) on poker.  So, I started my journey with only $22, but I don't really consider my bankroll to be $22, as I could re-up without any financial difficulty.  I think, assuming you have the money to play either level, the real question is your comfort level at that level.

I also agree with BMM...losing your roll on one account, even if doing well on others can cause some people stress.  I only play FTP at the moment, but I think if you consistently think of your cumulative BR and not each one individually, you should be okay.

I think it, especially at higher stakes, to have the option of different sites.  Hopefully someday, I'll have to worry about that....
