4 weeks 10k...Hey guys,
Decided that I would keep myself occupied by posting on here my ups and downs and also by setting myself a little challenge -
Onto the challenge, simply plays as many hands as it takes to make 10k in 4 weeks -
For those that dont know me I'm playing mainly 100nl and 200nl...
The reason am posting is to keep me motivated and to discuss hands etc.
I play multi networks merge, ipoker and microgaming - will mainly be ipoker and merge - I'm including todays figures which obvs helps but I dont really care - I'd decided I would do this challenge earlier just so happens I had a winning session -
If all goes to plan - I will make a new challenge for the following month of being number 1 on the PTR leaderboard...
I will post graphs as and when - regardless of winning or losing - and will try and post some of the interesting hands of the day also.

Sigh...
Not the best start for a Sunday evening :/ I dropped $847.31 at 200nl so far -
lost 5 flips which is pretty frustrating... moving over to merge and gonna grind some 100nl there for a bit then move back to Ipoker later...
Little bit tilted at the mo - so gonna make a brew and toast FTW
Here's the graph so far for today...
This was an interesting hand and I think I can get a fold if he doesnt get a gin river...

These numbers are crazy in comparison to what I'm used to!
Any chance of one graph with all the results?
There seems to be an immediate trend developing in every one of those few graphs. It would be interesting to see more over the next few weeks. It looks as though you can predict how you will finish for the day based on the first 200-400 hands???
So you need to be making $400/ day to hit your target with a few losing days allowed and a few days off....

here is the graph so far accross the two networks -
not sure what the trend is - I do tend to go in auto pilot mode though after a while hence i try and have breaks as often as poss -
towards the end I will do screen shots of HEM etc dont really want to atm incase there are players that im playing against
The figures are pretty big I guess - but it wasnt long ago that I was busto so just goes to show if you have faith in your ability and work hard you can do it...

Unlucky on the tourny but £1k is better than a kick in the teeth. lol
Really looking forward to your videos and especially how much depth you go into breaking down your opponents stats. I'll admit I'm guilty of not fully taking advantage of a HUD but just listening to your argument based on play and stats for a hand in our last group class converted me.
I have a feeling that there are some really excited cash school grinders out there right now.
Awesome stuff.

Hey guys - for those following this thread you will know ive not played that much...
I had a little session with a couple of well know pro's to work on a few things I thought would help my game and what a difference this has made -
Ive played around 4k hands in the last 3 days not much i know but ive decided to take some advise and lower the amount of tables ive been playing and concentrate on actually playing poker again rather than just ploughing through hands -
I'm now playing 6 tables 200nl and 9 tables 100nl the difference in my game is pretty incredible I no longer just play on auto pilot im now focussing so much more on HEM the resulst speak for them selves -
Im focussing on shorter sessions with a high winrate...

focus on long term results is key.. your objective should be make 25k hands with a nice profit and playing ure a-game.. short term results are pretty useless.. do you want to be a long term winner and buy a house with what yyou earn with poker or just win 200 bucks tomorrow? thats what i think about when i'm starting to get bad beats and tilted

Hey mate think you have miss understood the point of this thread -
Initially it was to play around 100k hands in a month and record a profit of 10k - because of personal prob i didnt play the volume i intended too - I also did a seperate coaching session with a few players i know and decided to focus on smaller sessions higher profits - which my graphs from the other day show -
Im fully aware of short term results mean nothing but Ive logged over 1 million hands in the last 12 months which shows im a winner
I wanted to show that by playing within your means 100nl 200nl or whatever your BR is you can make good profits at 6max cash without RB -

Getting one on one time with the players you did sounds awesome. Glad it's getting you back to your A game and really looking forward to the future content for the cash school.
Keep running good and I'll catch up with you later.
