Hi just thought id put a bankroll thread up , ive been playing poker for a few years but only been playing husng for a month so im still a bit ruff round the edges making a good few silly hero calls and trying to bluff call stations which i learnt today is an absoulute no no.

So ive booked myself some coaching from brokerstar and had my 1st video lesson today lots to take in but already seeing an improvement in my reads .

ive started with $50 and im gonna float between the $2 & $5 games and see how i get on !!!

sorry to be a dork can someone sharkskope me and put my sats up ive tried to copy and paste it and its not hapnin !!

Nice goings M8, keep up the good work and review the lessons you receive from Dom. Good idea to get flash cards as I've found that the best way to tote along and review form time to time.

Thanks guys ,Ive watched the loose passive video lesson 4 times already and I've got a live game tonight with 5 call stations and I'm well and truly ready for them after lesson no1 , can't wait for it

Just like taking candy from a baby doubled up with kk against kq on a q high flop 3 hands in and finished it off in style with a funky little move , had a 3 to 1 chip lead with as3s flop comes ac,7s,10s , turn 8c river js I shoved he said why so much ?? I said i had a 9 !!! He snap called and stood up and threw his cards on the table and says you need more than a 9 to beat me !!! He showed 9 q offsuit , I put him on a 9 but the fact he had the q was even better , I showed my hand smiled and he said you went all in with a pair of aces "fool", he still hadn't seen the flush , he was so exited about the straight !!! It was a nice poker moment !!!

I havnt played much this week due to work , children and a couple of nights out , but recently got introduced to variance !!! And what a complete bitch she can be ,I just cant seem to finish people off without her poking her nose in , this is not a one off ,this is most games i grind them down they start shoving like mad , i sit tight thinking any minute now and there they are a lovely pair of tens, villian shoves ,i call , yes 10 10 against 77 well aleast it i was happy untill the flop comes 2 3 7 !! I used to just laugh and say oh well thats just poker,Now i want to kick a dog but i havnt got one !!! every game the bitch turns up ak against a5 flop comes 234 , kq against j,10 flop comes kq3 , i shout and about f**cking time it was my turn !!! turn 2 river 9 !!! "SLAG" I scream at the computer , missus comes running in to see whats happened and tells me to calm down its only a game !! which is just a kick in the plums !!! HOW TO CONTROL EMOTIONS !! Im hoping thats brokerstars next video lesson !!

Pulled it back a bit but lacking in confidence and not enjoyin playing ,would rather read and learn and watch videos about heads up than play at the moment !!! Need to put some serious poker hours in and rekindle my love for the game !!!
