150€ to 1500€ before summer challengeHey guys!I've been playing poker for a while but just for fun, not caring about the money (fish) but last weekend I met a friend of a friend at a party and apparently he was beating 50-500€ husngs and playing for a living which inspired me a lot. So I've decided to start playing a bit more seriously and try to build a roll for real. I'm going to deposit 150€ at poker heaven and start playing the 5€. I'll move up once I've got 30 bi for the next limit or move down when roll drops to 40 bi at the limit below. Goals: [] Not go busto 
[] 10 € limit [] 15 € limit [] 20 € limit [] 30 € limit [] 50 € limit [] 100 € limit [] rake over 100€ a month (so i'll get rakeback) [] Play 1000 games [] buy something stupid from the vip store 
[] never play drunk
[] 10% roi at 5€ [] 10% roi at 10€ [] over 5% roi at levels above 10€ [] 300 games a month My ultimate goal is to be able to beat 50-100€ husngs

Played my first game at poker heaven now and took it down. Played this one only to see if I could get it to work with hh and hem, but I can't find the HH anywhere. Kinda annoying because I want to make a graph.. Anyone knows how to get hh from boss media into hem? | ||||

Played one more and took that one down to. The blind structure is super fast at poker heaven. Starts at 15-30 and goes up every 5 min at the reg speeds. So push or fold starts pretty quickly. So i guess it will be pretty much swings | ||||

Wow most tilting game ever. My client kept freezing so villain could steel a lot of blids from me. Then he somehow managed to openfold twice in a row when I had rockets. Well, well gonna play a few more games today and see if I can turn this around

OMG! Had 2 to 1 chip lead over some fish and then boom! disconnected! even tho my internet connection was working perfectly. Pretty annoying to loose two buy ins plus getting my roi messed up due to problems with the poker room

At poker heaven. Talked to them but they said there was nothing they could do and said it was my internet connection that was bad, which seems weird to me since this has never happend at an other poker room and I was able to chat with the support while it happend.

Fricking frick on a stick! Tried playing another game and timed out like every hand! Had top pair + open ender against superaggro donk. and I 3bettet for like 70% of he's stack then nothing happens for a while and then its says you timed out and he had shoved so I folded. Gaaah can't play at that site anymore i'm down like 4 buy ins when I should be up 1 | ||||

Think I've found a new room which seems nice. No idea how soft the games are tho. It's 24hpoker entraction network
Slower structure +1 rakeback 30% +1 pretty high traffic +1 Euros +1 mac compatible +1 Finnished my journey at pokerheaven after 10 games and I lost 2.5 buy ins (doesn't count tho imo) Now I'll deposit 150 € again at a new site and hope it works out better |

Thanks Looks pretty good this far. But super weird thing about the rake. Up to 10€ limits it's 5% rake then on the 20s it's 10%
Then 50+4, 75+6, 100+8... Guess I'll have to change room again once I get to the 20s

They did? It seemed like they got a bit irritated with me when I complained. They were a bit like "It's because of your internet connection and we can't do nothing about that and that's that!" Even tho I told them that I was online the whole time and that this never happened to me at other rooms. Well, well let's just hope my journey at 24hpoker goes smoother

Edit: Didn't take long til I thought om fomething to say... I actually think I'm going to play turbos instead of regspeed even tho I'm not quite familliar with em. There seems to a lot more traffic at the turbos and they doesn't seem to quick either Blinds goes up every 4 min Starting stacks = 100 bb and blinds = 10-20, 15-30, 25-50, 50-100, 75-150, 100-200 The struckture at regspeeds at poker heaven was even faster than the turbos at 24hpoker, There it was like this: Blinds goes up every 5 min Starting stacks= 50 bb, Blinds = 15-30, 25-50, 50-100, 100-200! Gonna practise and watch some vids on end game now:) Over and out

First day done at 24h poker. Sometimes I have to wait 5-10 min for someone to sit me which kinda sucks but overall it's been a fine first day.
I've played.. well decent imo but not as good as I think I'm capable of. Made some really bad calls but also a few really good reads and notes imo. The day felt pretty swingy and I won one game then lost one all the time. But I managed to finnish the day on the plus side

Hey guys. Haven't been writing for a while since I felt like the interest in this blog was really low
But anyways here's an update. I've been changing sites like 4 times since I always found something I didn't like with them. Roll roll went up to $300 a couple of days ago and I moved to ipoker and started playing the 10s. Ran like ass the first 20 games or so. Kept getting it in good and loosing. But after analyzing some games in HEM I realized I was also spewing quite a bit after the first 10 games. I cooled down, watched some vids and read about variance and realized 20 games is NOTHING. So now I'm trying to fight my way back again

Funny story. The moment after I lost my 7th game in a row i logged out from the site and my phone started ringing. me: "Hello" Poker770 support: "Hello mr Persson I'm calling from poker770 and I would like to welcome you to our pokerroom" Way to rub salt in the wounds lol 
Also had a fun chat with a reg who told me to stay away from the 10s and that he didn't wanna see me in the lobby cus the 10s were his Was gonna put it up here but I can't find it in my hh.

Have played him, got called a fish lots of times, I sucked out with my Set of Ks v his straight draw you see
Must admit, I do turn chat off a lot now, cos it tilts me when they keep calling me a fish, I know it shouldn't but it does, so I lose the chat. I'll make sure I own him and post back with results, and chat box comments. |

Anyways I've played a few more games a moment ago and I'm finnaly on the plus side of roi at the 10s First i met a spanish spewtard (opend the first hand to 680 raised the second hand when I min betted 10x and so on) And after a few hands I picked up AQ and called off his reraise shove. Guess I could have waited for a better spot but I felt like whatever I'm gonna be a 60% favourite most of the times (Me=donk ) He had K9 btw and flopped a king obv. Then I played a reg who I felt was really exploitable so I rematched him and won again.
So finally starting to feel a little confident at the 10s now. Feels like I've got an edge on most of the players who sits me when I'm opensitting
Goal next month will be 300 games at the 10s and 5% roi

As I mentioned before I'm playing at poker770 atm, and they have a vip shop! So I think it's time to set some vip-shop goals
Here's a list of awesome and less awesome stuff in the shop and I would like to hear some opinions on what item I should aim for
Should I: 1. Be realistic and aim superlow and go for this ridiculous card shuffle device which I will never use? 6500 points 
2. Be realistic and aim really low and go for this t-shirt so I can wear it while I'm sleeping (I'm cold at night)? 9282 points 
3. Be realistic and go for this pretty cool poker table which I will use 3-4 times a year? 38040 points 
4. Aim high and buy a ps3 (or a ps5 or whatever it will be when I got enough points) which is awesome 219020 points 
5. Aim high and buy a tv for my bedroom? 269800 points 
6. Aim superhigh and buy a weird touch computer? 419850 points 
7. Grind for life and celebrate my 100th birthday by entering the 2090 wsop main event? 5758400 points 
8. Be boring and just cash my points?
Current vip point balance: 711 Think I might average 20-25k points a month at the 10s |

wow what a sickening day! played 10 games and was up like 4 bi. then i just started running like ass! saw so many badbeats and so many coolers which led to some really bad plays too:( now I'm a slight looser at the tens again. gonna try to turn this around tomorrow so my first week at the 10s will be profitable! | ||||

Just finnished my first week at the 10s with roi of 6.7% so I'm happy about those results considering how crappy the week started out. However I feel like I've been running really well and playing rather bad the last 10 or so games. Gonna be more focused and well-rest(is this a word?) next week

Noticed I only had to play 4 more husngs before 00:24 to recieve goldstatus at pokerstrategy so I made a suicide decision and 2 tabled 2 sets, 1 reg speed and one turbo. 2 tabling made me super passive and I just couldn't make any reads at all. Lost 3 of em and the roi of my first week is 3.7% instead of 6.7.. But imo I should have won 2 of em since I got it in pre with jacks vs A6 the first match and lost 
But whatever I knew it was a stupid move. Lets just hope my calculations are correct so I atleast got out gold status out of it:P Now I need to sleep and then start to play a lot better |

Just played a passive fish who showed his hand everytime he won, even when he was bluffing. Thanks for the information:P Looked him up on sharkscope and he had pretty sick stats: 1499 games played, av stake 79 dollars, av roi -11% and total profit -17200 dollar. Guess he's almost busto since he's playing 10s now:P

going on a small vacation now for a week so will only play a very small amount of games the next days. When I come back next weekend I'm gonna start seriously working on my game and force myself to improve |

It is a common leak, which is why you should be exploiting it in others, rather than paying them off (I know you know this btw) The thing is, it's such an easy leak to fix, because you know what it is right? So just don't do it, and save $ I know it's easy to say this, but in reality, if you want an edge, you have to do it. I have been working hard on the mental side of things lately, it's really huge imo. Am in the process of doing a bigger and better "So you want to play HUSNG" article, it covers a lot of stuff like this. |

No I don't like that thinking at all. I guess it's okay, but to win at poker, you really need a winners mentality. Never be happy with how you are doing, always strive for better. Constantly push your goals. |

yeah exactly. and my roi is so small it could just as well be negative.. one loosing session is all it takes really. obviously im not going to be happy with a 2% roi at the 10s. I will work hard and atm my goal is 5-10% at the 50s and when i get there i'll probobly be aiming for the 100s and not be happy with sticking to the 50s. Grind on the mind my friends!
