1-suited boardsI don't have a specific hand in mind, but what is your approach when you hit a high pair on a flop of one suit without holding a card of that suit. As an example your OOP in a 3 bet pot with with AK of diamonds and the flop comes AJ2 of hearts. My standard approach is to bet out and try and get it all in if stacks are short, but what if you're deep stacked? I'm a nit for wanting to check-call and lead a safe turn?

Depends on player type, SPR, reads, dynamic in 3B pots, my perceived 3B range, the wideness of his calling range pre, etc etc.

Why would you want to give someone the option to take a free card?
