Hey guys. Started a new thread because I have changed my focus and sites, so want to start from fresh. Now completed Broker's course (but still have the game reviews left). Stuck £50 on Will Hill, which is about $80. Aiming for $5000 so let's see how far we can go.

25 buy-ins, move down at 20.

Hi guys, thanks for the messages. Bit of an update: hated the software on Will Hill and didnt like the structure on stars.fr, so went back to basics and stuck $100 on stars.com. Playing the turbos, but I feel the new structure allows so much more time to analyse an opponent, so no need for me to stick to the reg speeds. With the reg speeds, there comes a point in a game where I just invest too much emotionally in the game (usually in games that last 20+ mins), so losing makes me tilt Wink

The new turbo structure provide a great balance imo. Second admission is that my volume is, and will be for the time being, poor. However, if there is one thing I have learnt from a rollercoaster ride with poker over the last year, it is better to have quality over quantity. Much rather play one game and win, than play 15 and win 8-7. Obviously would get flamed for playing one turbo hu sng of an evening on 2+2, but hey - thats why I am on this forum.

The thing I have noticed is that when I play a hu sng properly, I find it quite draining. That's fine though, as it is much more interesting that playing a bazillion sngs at a time or mtts like a robot etc. So basically, I am now gunning for $100-$5000, but I have really realistic expectations from this game now. My life is real busy, but so long as I enjoy my poker when I do play, I'll have a much better chance. This might take me a year but sod it.

I'll post a graph after 100 games, but stats so far at the 3.50s:
Games: 32 1st: 24 2nd: 8 Profit: 47.18 ROI: 42
