**TAG HH Review Pyramid Featuring Kierk, Borg7, and Broker**What is this?A chance to get a HH review of your husng game from a TAG member playing at higher stakes than you. How does it work? Based on the site membership I anticipate there will be a lot of microstakes players who sign up for this, a fair amount of small-mid states players, and a few mid-high stakes players. If you take these players and sort them by stakes you can see a pyramid is formed. If each person does a HH review for a couple people one level beneath them and receives one HH from someone a level above them, everyone but high-stakes ballers recieve a HH review from someone playing higher than them. Thankfully we have three great players who have agreed to be top dogs if we need that many (brokerstar, kierk, and borg)! Who is this for? Anyone who wants to sign up. If you lurk and want to create an account that's fine. Whose games do the lowest group on the pyramid review? The lowest group on the pyramid won't be required to review anyone's game, but will still receive a HH review from someone in the group above them. I need to mention one case in which this will not be the case. In the event we don't get enough small-mid stakes players to cover all the players in the lowest bracket, some of them may end up doing reviews for each other. For this to work we need people from all stakes so everyone is welcome. EDIT: This section changed to be more clear that all stakes are welcome 
Logistics I will organize the pyramid based on the response. My motives are not completely unselfish as I would like to participate as well. Who reviews your game with selected randomly from the stake above you and the people who you do the review for randomly from the level below. You will NOT be expected to review more than two games (although I may ask nicely if we get stuck). I think one week for a sign up time is plenty long. How to sign up Post in this thread saying "In" and your BI level in $$. Please don't just say mid, high, micro, etc. If you don't want to post you can also pm me. I'm in. Haven't been playing much recently. Grinding a roll back at PS 15 Euro games whilst my FT balance is in limbo. Most of my HUSNG career games have been at $30 - $50.
Think this will need some managing to make sure that people are at the right level in the pyramid. No sense in Blazing being at the micro level for example. Very nice initiative. |

Tbh I've played much more $15 hypers in the last month (roughly 200- which is huge for me), and so far I'm loving it more than the turbos (maybe because I haven't experienced too much variance there). This might mean I'll move up to $30 hypers before shottaking $60 turbos (the playing level there is terrible- the same as the $1.5s, $3.5s and $7s imo). This is like the first time I participate in any type of game review/sweat/coaching regarding poker, so not sure if I'll be any good at reviewing hhs. |

I'm also happy to do more than 2 hhs myself if need be also since I have always been taking free knowledge/advice and never really paid back (though maybe I don't need to "pay back" yet). |

I've been thinking, to see what kind of quality we can get from these sessions, whoever makes a video review using camtasia, we'll have a vote as to everyones favorite and the best one will go on the main video page on the site.
Now the file will have to be produced to a small file size like around 50mb which you should be able to do in your camtasia production settings. Broker |

With regards to stake level I have no idea.
Played 30s exclusively for the months running up to December last year. So we can go with that if that's what's best. Obviously with this not being my idea I gotta fit round everyone so hit me up on Skype two2go if you think I should be elsewhere in the "pyramid", so to speak. |

The problem with torrents is that it is banned on my network. And last term I already paid a hefty fine after bypassing it and downloading a bunch a films (not even torrents- just from "share" sites which are banned too)... |

Torrents can be a pain in the ass when it comes to programs anyway. With the cracks and keygens out there it's only a matter of time before someone who downloads software gets their computer messed with. |

Yep- it's the campus network.
I've used torrents plenty of times for all sorts of things. It's how I got my first poker resources (books, articles etc- The Mathematics of Poker, Harrington on Hold'em I, II, Every Hand Revealed etc). I think last year I even downloaded some old versions of pokertracker and HEM , but they crashed a lot.

Alright, so we have a good number of people in the exchange, and I think this will be a great way to plug some leaks and network. I hope everyone is satisfied with the structure posted below. It was fairly difficult to sort out, and if there's something terribly wrong I could probably try to work something out if you pm me. I think the best way of dealing with the actual exchange of the games is to let the partners work it out. I suggest you pm those above and below for skype, email address, or some other way of talking about how and when the game will be reviewed. Again, this is for a review of one sng game.
If something comes up and someone can't be reached or won't be able to do a review for you, let me know. I don't mind doing another (or finding someone else if you want). Also, try to be courteous to your reviews when choosing a game to send. I think 40ish hands is a good target. For those who do make videos, it might be nice to post the links in this thread (with permission from the person in the game). Anyways, hopefully that's enough to get it started. To avoid confusion, for the organized reviews let's just leave the structure how it was initially set up. Other exchanges are obv cool. I wasn't able to talk with everyone before constructing the levels, so I mainly went off of what people posted in this this thread. No matter how it's done there will always be people on the fringes of each group. fwiw it was random once the groups were put together. The levels were just meant as a way to make the game exchange most helpful and shouldn't really be taken as much more than that.

I've had a few questions about how hand history reviews work, and I'm sorry for assuming everyone had experience or understood the general process. What usually happens is one person sends the hand history file generated by the poker site they are playing on to someone who will look over the game. There are some web sites that you import these hand history files into that will show a replay of the game in a way that's easy to read the hole cards and bet/pot sizes instead of trying to interpret the raw text file. There's also free software called "universal replayer" that works really well for this.
From the reviewers end, once you receive the game, you can look through the hands and make comments on them (similar to if you were posting advice on a hand in the forums for example). Some people like to talk over skype while replaying the game together, some would rather write their comments in a word document and send it back to the player, other times the reviewer might make a video of themselves looking over the game and talking about it (sounds like this is popular in this thread) and send this back. In the end these are just some options and it's probably best to talk with those who you're exchanging with to see what works for you two. Videos are certainty not required, it just seems like there's a lot of interest in posting links to reivews so more of us can learn. Also, there seems to be some worry about not being able to be helpful to the person you're reviewing. fwiw I find discussing hands to be helpful regardless of skill level because you're forced to give the reasoning behind why you agree or disagree. I hope there wasn't a huge expectation created as it's just a friendly game exchange . Again the "pyramid" scheme or whatever was just a way of organizing the exchange in a way that hopefully is most helpful.

If you want to record the session the feel free to. Rather than me just review a game and post what I think, I'd sooner get into a conversation about thought process and reasoning to make sure you get as much out of it as you can

I went over a HH review with borg live today. It was pretty interesting to heard his thoughts in spots where he suggested that i should played differently. The way he explained his thought process was very easy to understand and he always seem to have the right answer for every situations i questioned him. thank you borg!
