I sorta got to where I wanted to be after 12 months of playing, which was rolled for the 50s. After that I basically quit poker and haven't played/improved at all for a while as I did exactly what I wanted to do. I think that I've got to the point where I'll need to learn a shiz load now to move to the hundos and above but at the moment there's just money sitting in my account doing nothing. I've realised that right now I actually have a chance to play for a decent amount of money and when I think about it the 50s used to seem like so much more money than they do now. I realise that I've become lazy because I achieved what I wanted to, yet now I want to see how far I can push this. However, my biggest flaw is that I am lazy, it took me 12 months to get from a $15 roll to a $1500+ one and I could have done it a lot faster. I don't know how far I can take it but I've decided I'm going to give myself a chance to break into the higher stakes.
So my goals are as follows: [] Play 250 games [] Regularly watch videos and try to improve aspects of my game. I know the second isn't measurable but I don't feel that you can measure knowledge to that extent. The first target is just to get me back into the swing of things and is, I think, achievable without too much of a sweat. |
