|
|
Hi I was wondering if anyone has played on either players only or sportsbook as I am interested in the free coaching deal but no nothing about these sites.
The only real questions I have is what is the rake $20-30 games and is there much action on these sites?

usally smaller sites have less action, however i've never played on either of these sites so i don't know for sure!
As for rack the best way to check is sign up to the site and download there software and then have a look (as there is usally no other way to do it)

Sports book and Only poker are on the Merge network which is a reasonable size network.
The real plus is that these sites take US players and have sports betting which means they are swaming with fish and degen gamblers looking to get lucky.
Not sure on rake though. _________________ Heads Up Poker Course

Ok,
So today i joined players only to make use of the coacing offer and thought i'd give some feedback about the site in case anyone else was wondering.
There seem to be few porblems with the site, obviously wait times are a little longer and software doesn't look as nice as stars or tilt but that is to be expected.
Rake is the same as stars or tilt and regular speed and turbo options are available.
HUSNG's follow the same structure as stars so you start off quite deep and then get to push fold quite early.
So far I have only played 3 games and at a lower level than I normally play (only put $80 on and don't want to reload) but competition seems very soft.
It reminds me a lot of when I used to play on bodog and man people just want to gamble so expect villans to be shoving hands like Q2s over your limps. Of course I love that as i can just wait for a big hand and fold the rest.
Well that's all for now so hope this helps someone and gl at the tables. |

Nice review and it sounds like the structure is pretty good as well.
Hope it works GL

I joined to get the free coaching offer games were soft waiting time between 5-10 mins, i decided to go for the paid option in the end and depending if you plan on still playin on the site after you qualify for the coaching withdrawl is a pain in the arse tho, min $50 withdrawl 3 forms of ID need to be sent then verified, all in all tho fairly good site! _________________ Signatures are a gift to long term forum members that are very involved in helping others out. |

I'll just post my question in this thread.
Can the free course be combined with other actions (as you don't fill in a bonus or anything)? And how many rake does it take to clear the free course (approximately).

What do you mean combined with other actions? There are no other deals running that we have on those sites and you can't type is a bonus code for another site deals also.
I'm not exactly sure what 500 player points is in rake? Is it one point for every dollar of rake paid? Not 100% sure on how they calculate their rake to be honest.

I meant a bonus code from somewhere else. (Guess I can't do it, because you probably get the fee because you referred me to their site).
If it's too hard to release the bonus, it might be more interesting to play somewhere else get a deposit bonus and just pay for the lesson(s) (or since I'll be starting at the micro's: less rake). I'll look it up!
edit: "You also earn points playing in tournaments and Sit & Go’s. There are no limits to the number of points you can earn in tournaments and you receive 7 FPP’s for every $1 in tournament entry fees, including fractional points."
so 500 FPP would mean 71,5$ rake. Seems pretty fair to me! |

Downside! Nolimit headsup regs.. Start from 10,5.
you do have 5,75+0,25 turbo's..
You can make custom games, but than rake is 10%.
They have 5$ pot limit, 5$ omaha no limit, and 5$ limit... What's up with that? maybe I overlooked something, but don't think so. Don't really feel like depositing that much money tbh... and already have a partypoker play account , so can't go that route ... In all my excitement I even already send you a mail..
How much different is pot limit? Or should I try the 6$ turbo's? They also have 4 players hu winner takes all for 3,15$.
It just all seems kind of swingy to me... especially if you can't go down.
hmm.. Got to think about it a little, just want to play some games though. |
