Reseal's Cash Game Escapades

So last Monday I deposited $100 on Carbon Poker and once again began grinding 6max. I started playing 4nl, and managed to grind some 20k hands in a week (over more than 2 days worth of play). I did lose a bit of money here and there at 4nl due to some rustiness in my game. Getting bored of the slog of 4nl, I stuck another $90 into my account and moved up to 10nl. This didn't exactly work out well right away, I lost about 7 buyins at the stakes and decided I had to tighten up my game and play some good solid poker.

I'm happy to say I've managed to turn a profit this week. My graph from Monday to Wednesday this week looks like this:

N.B I will post my full graph in the future, but right now it looks a bit ugly and is just BE cos of the downer I first went on Razz

So $227 now sits in my poker account. My goal is to try and run this up to $2k within the next 2 months!

Further Goals are to A) Make 5k by the end of the year and B) Be playing at least 100nl by October (when I restart university). These may seem a bit ambitious, but I'm fully committed to making them a reality as right now I have nothing else to dedicate my time to other than poker- I'm able to literally grind 30,000 hands a week if I want and spend countless hours studying the game!

Just finished a 2 hour long 9 tabling session. Having a good day so far: am up 6.5 buyins over about 2k hands.

Looking forward to my late night session against all the mega fish Very Happy

Had a mediocre day overall. Earlier I 12 tabled for an hour and a half, running poorly and also making some bad call downs, I came out down 2 buyins.

Just finished another 90 min session, this time just 6 tabling, I came out 4 buyins up.

So the roll's now at $316 and the graph for this week's looking like this:

I have the distinct feeling that you're going to have a lot more than $2k by the time you go back to uni my man!! Wink

Cheers for the kind words lads!

Things aren't moving as fast as they were, just waiting for some run good again it seems. Played 2 ½ hours then, only managed $15 profit. Still, better than a losing session I guess Razz

Time to smash out a 4 hour, 9 tabling, late night session later on to try and pull that graph line up some more Very Happy
