Back Looking To Finish Off My Goal

I am back to finish off my original br thread. My original goal was to make 25k and that is what i am here to do. I am at just over $500 on all my accounts.

I am not using my original thread as it was strickly husng and i am playing 6 max cash now under the cash school program. I have had some great coaches in alex and broker and i am playing the best poker of my life. I have over 40k hands in 6 max with slightly above break even but there was some bonuses and rakeback to help. I am currently playing nl 10 basically .05-.10 blinds. Its the lowest of the low but i want to do it right.

There is also something a bit different i have with my br strategy as i didnt have before. I use a 10 bi strategy when shot taking and 20bi to move up. I know my old br nitty self would scream outloud. I will be working with the cash school mid stakes pro's looking to move  up to nl100.

This is where we are so far on ipoker.

I feel i am getting back into it and did make some loose calls and playing a few hands oop from the blinds that i need to tighten up.

My Thoughts And Views On The Game

I consider myself an old school player learning the game over a kitchen table and perfecting it in a live casino. I played alot of tourneys and live full ring cash games to some great results. This was when poker was all over tv at the height of the boom. I went on to have some very good scores live but buried them all under large amounts of good stories and useless things. My motivation for poker has evolved into playing with a purpose and not to have fun. We all started playing for recreation but some of us commited to learning the game. I brought my recreational attitude to online poker and have been given some hard lessons. There are alot better poker players then me that over a computer give off very little tells.

This all leads me to being in this game so that i can succeed in the game i love. Success is different to everyone and i see being able to play poker, teach poker, and be a ambassador as success. i believe very strongly in giving back to the community that taught me so much. I dont claim to be the world best coach but i know how to make a succession plan and keep people on track. The one troubling thing to me was a comment i heard once that people who teach usually because they cant do it. I believe that great players can be great coaches but they need to be able to live the things they teach. I now teach how to be accountable to there poker and i look in the mirror and know i am not doing everything i can for my game. I teach how to map a plan to reach your goals but i see myself running in circles looking for a different result.

It All leads to this thread my only way of holding myself accountable. I now have a network of players urging me on and pulling for me as well as my family.  My family is so supportive and i am so blessed to have them pushing me forward. I want to reward them they way they deserve it but the only way i can do that is by holding myself accountable in my teaching and in my playing.

I will update weekly with graph and stats

Thank You Tag Poker

update

havent played today been working with some players going over a few concepts today and some reviews which is going great. started to review some of my longer sessions this week and seeing a very open calling pattern from the small blind. looking at my results i see my biggest losing position is the sb but most 6 max players lose money from the blinds but when i spew off a few bb per session calling to light it adds up.

had just over 3k hands and down $11 i am switching away from ipoker as i absolutley hate the software and i dont see the cash school being around much longer so i am looking at playing on stars exclusivley as that is the site with my best results and the weakest opponents

i wont be posting a graph this week as i have been on 3 sites this week and hem cant combine them all so i dont really wanna bore u with looking at my 3 graphs that flat line.  i made 3 light calls this week and didnt suck out imagine that. i would be up 3 bi if i hadnt of made these calls but i just didnt go with my read.

goals for the week

-5k hands on stars with 5 bbs/per 100
-hh review before and after each session
-5 nightly sessions this week split into 2 smaller 1 1/2 hr sessions
-one coaching review session
one video on blind play-watched
-post in br thread weekly
-post 1 hand that i had issues with in 6 max thread
- keep my grind up day in day out with no emotion

Looking forward to the next post!

Keep up the good work.

I know you can easily break 5k hands if you want to.
