Happy New Year & THANKYOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's New Years Eve, I'm in Cornwall and reflecting over the past year, the site, life goals etc, etc.

One of my goals this time last years was to have over 1000 forum members by this point and that's happened. Another goal was to launch a cash game aspect to Tagpoker which had mixed results although there were were one or two great little players produced during that time which I'm proud of and hope to work more with in 2012!

I wanted to do another poker challenge and I am within a nats whisker of finishing that ($9326 will post later in that thread).

I also wanted to make sure that the vibe in the forum and on this site in general was one of friendliness, teamwork and good nature towards each other. I think for the most part we all pulled that off bar one or two tiny hicups but close enough Smile

The truth of the matter is that this place really is nothing without you guys and it feels like so much more than just another poker forum. Call me sentimental but it's *cue corny moment* more like a bunch of my mates and I have so many 'real world friends' that I think that means even more that I feel like this in a virtual setting.

I've seen so many of you give your time freely to help others, we've helped people raise money for charity through sponsorship and had a lot of laughs and jokes at each other *cough, cough, Ashes* and I for one just can't wait to see how this little place develops in 2012 and watch more of you move closer to your goals!!

Thanks again guys for making this place a labour of love!

I notice Dom mentioned about raising the money for charity and I feel this is the right thread to reinforce my thanks for the help I received from you guys in that.

I managed to do the full 50 miles on £5 and we raised over a £1000 in total and it all went to a good cause.

I know that I mentioned in the actual thread that it had all gone as planned and I extend my most sincere thanks to everyone who helped me raise the money and anyone that played in the tournament that Nacht set up.

Thank you to everyone, hope 2012 is everything you all want it to be.
