How many of you use PT3 and its HUD?
Do you know you can customise it to display your preferred stats? Has anybody done this for HUSNG?
I'm experimenting a bit with it atm, you can see my current version here. Any comments / suggestions / advice?
And does somebody else use color coding? I configered for example that if villain folds to Cbet 50%+ that this stats will be highlighted in green, in order to spot this quicker. If he check-raises the flop more than 1 time in 3, I want to highlight it in orange. Planning to add color codes to some more stats (extreme tightness & passiveness in green, extreme loose & agressive stats in orange), but I'm not sure what stats and what values are worth considering here. Again, suggestions welcome. |

Certainly. Still correcting and improving some stuff, I'll send you when finished. If you don't hear back from me, don't hesitate to send me a pm.
I deliberately chose not to display too many stats at once, if it's too much, I won't notice them anyway, although the color coding might help out there a bit. I also don't display river-stats, as the action on the river depends soo much on the rest of the hand and could often be irrelevant if you just see some number. That being said, how do you feel about my current version? Too detailed / not detailed enough? User-friendly? Other? |

Well most use HEM nowadays, but im sure they do the same things.
Mine:

But I would remove fold to C/R and such. Even after playing someone for 400 hands hu, these samples are useless.
Its far too much dependent on holecards/ boardtexture. Same with fold to river CB and such. Even river aggression takes k's of hands to converge. |

Thanks for your feedback. To get into it:

1) No, somebody might point out that I'm forgetting a very useful stat or something, we're here to learn from each other.
2) It takes the same time to configure something for me alone, or something that's useful to maybe 10 people. I like the second more.

Maybe you're right. Anyhow, I decided not only to display the %, but also the number (as you can see). So when I see c/r 33% (1/3), I know this is only on a 3 occasions sample-size and I consider it as such.
Other question: Could you elaborate on the color coding you use in your HUD? What threshold values did you use and why? Or is it the 2+2 template with mjw's color coding? |

And I need to retool it for HUPLO (where noone ever folds to 3B, and donking is more common and such.)
I'd add ''delayed cb'', ''bet vs missed cb oop'' and ''call cb'' is more useful instead of ''fold to cb'', as lots of players donk a ton, and he cant fold to a cb if you dont have the possibility to cb in the first place.. |

Check out my hud thread here...http://tagpoker.myfastforum.org/about2128.html it's for HEM but, I assume you could duplicate it.
Here is a great post too...http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/185/heads-up-sng/awesome-hud-v2-free-10-huds-choose-954986/ _________________ Beware: I give bad advise and I bite. |

Hey johnny,
Thanx for the reply. I know the 2+2 post and I checked out your HUD as well, but in none of the 2 post the color coding is explained. And even for people who don't use a HUD, this discussion is interesting. From what point on is somebody considered tight? What is the treshold between passive, "normal" and agressive? ect. I don't have HEM so I can't check it out myself, but I would be really greatful if you could post the details of the color coding. Could even be in a separate topic, to discuss the theory behind it.
For people interested in my HUD, I still have to create some stats that don't exist in PT3, and fix some errors. Like "open-fold-your-SB" is not a standard one, but I added that. When I'm finished, I'll give it to whoever wants to use it. |

Hi,
I made some improvements to my PT3 HUD.
My almost latest verstion looks like this:
A quick word about the color coding:
All stats where villain playes exploitably tight, are in GREEN
All stats where villain playes exploitably stationary, are in BLUE
All stats where villain playes exploitably aggressive, are in RED
Also recently added (but not present on the screenshot): Current STACKSIZE in BB - very helpful in endgame.
And I'm probably going to delete the turn-stats for the BB, as I think this is too board and momentum dependant, and doesn't add much in the HUD.
If anybody is interested, contact me by pm or mail my SN here at gmail. |
